Red Barn in B&W

A couple of days ago I captured this in Northern Colorado. The Red Barn I think is just for decoration, people do photoshoots with it all the time, but I have never seen the doors open. This is part of a Nature area along the Poudre River. It used to be just a small meadow and lake, but they have expanded it to now have a loop trail that is about 1.5 miles long. So it makes for a great place for me to go running and also take photos. :)

I actually liked the contrast of the Red of the barn and the white of the snow, but then I ended up going down the B&W path, and here we are. :)

This was after I was done running and it had gotten a bit darker and the light came on the barn, I think it's more effective in color, but I liked the overall feel in B&W.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

B&W is fitting in this scene. Let's one imagination decide on the color of the barn (or it would have except for the title ;))

Liking the light also.

Thanks Michael!

Ha ha, I guess I gave away the color there. I did it mainly because this Barn and it's surrounding area is one that I have posted quite a bit. So saying it was the Red barn was more as a location reference. But you are right, it would have been fun to guess the color of the barn. :)
