I don't have access to my full library so I am going to have to fall back on a shot I have in the gallery. I could still get a neat sunset out on the road this week but nothing in hand right now.
Most of my shots with skies are usually split with subjects on the ground so the atmosphere part isn't the primary content in the frame.
This is from Harris Beach State Park near Brookings, Oregon. The sun is just about to duck behind the marine layer but the pervasive wintertime ocean mist allows for some nice rays to go along with the colors .
