Thanks. During midsummer the sun rises before 4am and sets around 11pm. So we have a five hour "night". That's really nothing, if you go to lapland, the summer day is measured in weeks (same for the winter nights).

Oh my! Breathtaking image! And the dramatic changes in day/night at those type of latitudes make for some interesting shooting experiences. This is really a special shot - the DOF and exposure really both work to make this special.
