I'll show two - a new rain cover to replace my 10 year old well used Kata bags rain cover:
And a new cutting board/countertop cover for my RV:
I just finished the cutting board yesterday - the woods I used are maple, cherry, and walnut. This will cover the cooktop and countertop to give me more working space next to the galley sink.

By far the best (and most expensive) present I've ever gotten. Thanks to my father in-law Charles who passed away last year, and the money he left his kids, Debbie and I sold our old camper van and got this rig a week ago. In many ways this will be the most important photo gear I've got, taking me to remote locations and enabling comfortable camping so I can be on location for sunset/rise.
I've been thinking we should have a thread where we share our camping rigs and how we've tweaked them. My old van was very simple and low maintenance, but no bathroom or standing up was getting old on month long trips, esp. for my wife. Hopefully it will be worth the learning curve and $$ to have this.

I suspect you will have a bit of a learning curve to get used to driving this but that gives you an excuse to take it out to play

I have been looking into something larger too as camping out of my SUV is even worse then a van as in regards to space. I am really wanting something that I can standup in, etc.. So I know exactly where you are coming from.
I haven't ruled out completely a 4x4 truck with a camper, though I would say I am at 90% sure I will get an extended height van like a Sprinter or a Transit and then just build it out myself.

When I was a little girl, my mom got me an umbrella with horses on it. when we were on our Alaskan Cruise, I left it in an Uber in Juneau. I was so sad the rest of the day. This is my new Horsie umbrella LOL. And of course spending a relaxing day with my family was the best!

Good to hear your EKG was good. As we get older, health starts to loom large in our lives.
