The Port of San Diego and The Brigantine Restaurant Group celebrated the unveiling of the 42,000 square-foot, $25 million Portside Pier restaurant development project .

Typical San Diego sunset in the second image - complete with the marine layer color snuff job. I like the placement of the sun flare behind the statue. I had to look up where the restaurant is located. That used to be a relatively unused part of the shoreline. The night shot of that looks nice.

Yeah SD is getting more popular and more structures being built. Sad to say this place is swamp during summer or any other month of the year.

I used to know that neighborhood quite well. I worked about 2 blocks from there for a while in 2001 and was staying in the Archstone Harborview apartments during the work week. I used to walk through Seaport Village every day.
