Portland Pride 2024 (part 2)

Sunday, July 21, 2024. Portland, Oregon's Annual Pride Parade. It's been a long time since I photographed at an event. I tried, in places, to blur some of the busy backgrounds. The light was sometimes direct, sometimes cloudy, so did the best I could. A thunderstorm passed through a couple of hours before the parade started, but at least it didn't rain during the actual parade. A great time was had by all !

Elaborate costumes on display. I can't help but wonder how many of the participants were down at the Oregon Country Fair a few weeks back.

Probably quite a few... Last time I was at the Country Fair was 30 years ago and I swore I'd never go back. Way too crowded even back then.

LOL - last time I went was in 2005 and I pretty much said the same thing. Getting in and out of that place during the event is absolutely crazy.
