Porter Ranch / Blasdel Barn

I had a break in the clouds near sunset yesterday and drove to the nearby Blasdel Barn hoping to get some interesting light. This is an iconic barn in the Flathead Valley and was built in 1908. I think the other (right) side is a little more photogenic, but this is the view that had the better light on the mountains.

Any thoughts are welcome.

That's a seriously large barn. Looks well aged at this point so I can see why you would seek it out as a photo subject. I like the patchy light on the mountains behind and the lack of foreground distractions in front of too the barn.

There is a Porter Ranch community here in SoCal, so my first thought on seeing your title was wondering what you were doing down here in SoCal.

This view now is much more captivating then anything you could find in the SoCal Porter Ranch. What a really cool barn, and yeah, I am digging that light.
