Playa de Portizuelo in black & white

I will be off to teach my spring Workshops tomorrow, got 5 of them lined up and probably be off forum for one and a half month or so. Before going away, enjoy Playa de Portizuelo in black & white, a long exposure taken during the Workshop I led in Asturias last fall. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.

thank you very much for your comment, glad you enjoyed it! Am now sheltered in a hotel in Borgarnes, Iceland, waiting for a windstorm to pass by to resume my travels here... Beaufort 8 / 9, gale force winds, all roads closed, what's better than that to get up to speed with Forum answering?

Love the composition in how the rocks line up with the near rock pointing to the far one. The long shutter and monochrome treatment fits the image perfectly.

Hey Mike, thank you very much for your comment and kind words! So far so good, Iceland is done and am now in the UK (Dorset) for the week. Glad you enjoyed Portizuelo, one of my favourite beaches in Asturias!
