Pilsners and an Ice Log in the Adirondacks, NY

Colden has hung his stocking, and put out the goodies for santa and has gone to bed. So we've got some quiet time for tea, and a little time for a toast to my good friends and co-togs here at Focal World.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Holidays and Festive Festivus to all of you.

And I'll post a treat from the Adirondacks as my toast:

Thanks all, it was a very unusual circumstance; the end of fall; heavy snow in the mountains followed immediately by a sunny warm day, which created the melt, and a LOT of flowing water, followed again by a sudden deep freeze. And I walked right into at. As I found the first such image, I started walking a number of ad hoc streams created by the melt and freeze, and got 4 or 5 unusual shots. I'll get them together and post the theme one of these days.

Thanks for the kind comments -- mostly luck, accompanied by some determination.
