Patriotism Passing By

Down in Long Beach last weekend with Dave, I caught this old lady with the US flag over her cart walking across the cross walk at the same time as these other guys were walking the other way.

One thing I noticed back at home was because I was panning with the lady as she walked across the background is slightly blurred, but the men walking the opposite direction were blurred even more since they were walking against my panning motion. Again I was shooting with a slightly slower shutter speed which allowed it. Now in this case, that wasn't intentional, but I thought it was cool later.

Jim, this is great for the fact you captured the other 2 in slight blur but she is in perfect stillness. Perfect shutter speed and timing !
