About halfway between Kanab and Page on Hwy 89, a dirt road heads north to one of the grandest scenes in the entire desert southwest. Once a pioneer Mormon settlement, Paria is now a ghost town with just a few gravestones remaining, but the color in the hills surrounding the site will take your breath away!

I love that place and the colors on the Vermillion Cliffs all along the road leading into the old townsite. Good to get there on a cloudy day to enhance the colors of the cliffs.

That is a beautiful place! And I agree, the colors the lines, the cliffs, the buttes.... it always takes my breath away when I drive that way. Great job capturing it Michael.
