Paper sculptures

My wife's creative hobby is paper crafting.

This butterfly "cloud" is an example. The butterflies are all connected and, if you look closely, you may be able to see the connections. I made no attempt to clone them out.

Another example is a paper three-dimensional Eiffel Tower . She made it from a metallic paper and it is about 20 inches tall. I've photographed it from a few different perspectives, some a bit more realistic.

The pillow is also one of her designs.

Impressive paper artwork and some nice images showing them off. If you hadn't mentioned the connections in the butterfly display I wouldn't have looked hard enough to find them. Very well disguised. The tower work is amazing.

… The butterflies would be beautifully showcased within greenery and sunlight. Wonderful craftsmanship.

I appreciate all the comments......I suppose these samples are not so much about the photography as the artistic work. My contribution was to do a credible job of documenting the subject matter. (Then, photography is often just that).

These are so awesome! Your wife is incredibly creative. I couldn't imagine making either of those.

And I agree, this post is more about your wife's creativity then your photography. But that's fine, we all enjoy seeing creative artistic work no matter the medium. So please keep sharing.
