Here is some Palouse with a little intentional camera movement (ICM).

This is from Steptoe Butte. Sunset was a bust and it was so windy there my wife would not even get out of the car. I tried to make some lemonade. I'm kinda happy with how it turned out!

Richard - no, it was not the wind. I loosened the ballhead so that it could move freely left or right. Then I slowly turned the camera while I took several shots with the remote. I did have my camera bag hanging from the center column of my tripod to keep the wind from moving it. The technique is called Intentional Camera Movement. I hope that helps.
