Open the Gate to Infrared

I have been on an Infrared spree lately. I was making sure to take my Nikon D7100 that is converted to 590nm every where I went. So in this case I had dropped off the 2 oldest grandkids at Kids Night out event at the Windsor Rec Center. While they were having fun inside, I had a lot of hours to waste, so I went to downtown Windsor. It's a really small town, with almost no night life. A couple of restaurants that are open past dark, but not much. I roamed around the town a bit and found this small gated park or yard? Not sure exactly. But I thought it looked cool.

Now, Infrared is supposed to be taken during the day as it responds to the lightwaves from the sun. But.... I went a bit crazy and decided to just use it no matter what. So it's fun to see just how the colors did still change at night with the IR even though there was no moon, just various lights around the town.

This has not been channel swapped, it's the basic IR colors with the custom WB.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

This almost doesn't even look like IR if it weren't for the bush in front.
Thanks Alan.

I tried a Channel Swap which also looked pretty cool. What's interesting is both the green light and the yellow light then changed colors too. So the lights were affected by the IR to some extent.

Thanks Craig! I am glad you liked it, and I am not sure what exactly I did, but I did like how the fence turned or stayed white.
