Oops Too Late!

We have some very large cottonwood and ash trees in our back yard. I was planning to take some images of them in fall color this weekend, however Mother Nature had other plans. We got several inches of snow and very cold weather this weekend (8 degrees F on Sunday night). This morning the sun came out and I found a large portion of the fall leaves had 'fallen' down on top of snow. :(

This crab apple tree lost it's leaves several week ago!! ;)

Definitely looks like summer is a distant memory now. Kinda makes raking the leaves a bit difficult not to mention putting a damper on a BBQ patio party

The leaves do look colorful contrasting with the blanket of snow.

Thanks Alan I am sure we won't be having any BBQ outdoor parties anytime soon. ;).
I thought the leaves on the snow made an interesting image! :)

Too bad you missed the shot you wanted but it made for a pretty cool shot of your backyard Larry.
Thanks you, Trent comments appreciated! ;). Some smart person said when life gives you lemons, make some lemonade, snow in the yard and patio furniture, covered with leaves is an interesting photo! :)

Very cool Larry, I like the flavor of your Lemonade!

I almost want to see #1 in some kind of Artsy toning. Not Sepia, but the chairs, especially that central one could make this a candidate for a spooky, moody image with vignettes and false colors? Or maybe it's just because Halloween was last night? 🤪
