I recently cleared my iPhone photos to reorganize them and put back just the best. Of course I backed up to an external HD, and while culling out the good/meaningful shots I found a few that merited opening in ACR and Photoshop to edit, esp. with Silver FX which gives so much more control than the Photos app on the phone that I normally use for phone snapshots. I've already posted some similar shots taken with my Sony A7rII from this trip.

Very nice Jim - I especially like the first one with the focus on the bubbles down in front and the next two worked well too. The last one shows some moderate haloing around the sea stacks but that is something I have seen in some of my own iPhone images as well.

What a good find Jim! #1 and 2 are my favorites with #1 being the best. I also like #4 but it's got a thin halo along the horizon edge that I would correct. Otherwise #4 is really a great composition too.

iPhone shots........they've come so far from the early days! My fav is #1 with the foam & clouds.

Thanks for all the comments. I saw the halo in that last one, esp. at the top of the rocks, and you guys confirmed it as a bit of a problem. Not the phone's fault - that showed up when I cranked the contrast and structure in Silver FX, but I didn't go to the trouble of working to mitigate it with this iPhone playing around.
