Old Oak Trees in ST Augustine. Florida

The oaks in Florida are quite different from the ones I am more used to seeing in the west. This looks like a shot with some wide dynamic range to accommodate in post with some artifacts up in the tops of the trees that would be difficult to tame. Looks like a mid winter visit with the Christmas decor around in the scene.

I agree with Alan, these oak trees sure look different down south. I wonder if it's the humiidity?

Thanks Alan for your comments, they are very much appreciated! ;)
Yes is was in late December while I was on a consulting trip to Florida. My associate and I went to St Augustine and to Gatorland over the weekend. St Augustine has a long and rich history going back to 1565! Gatorland is just a scary place to visit featuring pits with Cottonmouth or Water Moccasin snakes and Eastern Diamond Back rattlesnakes, in addition to watching aligators grab chickens at 10 feet above the water! :(
