Old Mill Stream

This is whats left of an old abandonded mill at Blanchard Spings State Park. I had been by it countless times over the years, and never knew it was there until Barry Hamilton posted a picture of it on a local forum. He was kind enough to tell me where the trail was to get down by the stream. The water comes from a huge Cavern system and is cold enough to numb your feet quickly. Thanks again Barry, this image has brought enjoyment for me, and guests at my home, as it is hanging on my livingroom wall.

Hey Bill,

That is a cool shot. Barry has a lot of good location info running around that head of his!

Out west, scenes like that are just super rare. I think it's really cool that you guys do have opportunities to shoot locations like this.

Bill, your description of finding this place, really frames it. Hiding in plain site!
The ruins being reclaimed by nature. You've captured it very well.
I can feel the breeze, hear the river.
