North Lake Sunrise

From an autumn morning at North Lake in the Eastern Sierra. I started out lakeside, hoping to capture reflections in the calm water. The wind came up before dawn, though, so I started looking for other opportunities. I ended up on this hill, allowing me to cover some of the lake with the colorful foliage in the foreground and get a nice view of the light from sunrise on the mountains. This includes several images blended to control the dynamic range.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Love that country, nice job here. Last time I was there the low clouds covered the mountain.

That's a wide range of light to tame and still get fall colors in the shadow areas. Nice work.

I like it, i am not on proper screen right now, but it looks a bit blueish, especially in the shade of the mountains...
other than that, maybe a bit contrast in the mids?

Very nice work. I prefer that hill view for North Lake. Yeah, that water never seems to stay very calm for long there. Good work on this, I like it!
