North Fork Flathead River

I spent yesterday afternoon exploring the area between Columbia Falls and Polebridge near the northern entrance to Glacier NP. I had seen some nice fall color in this area before but had never really spent any time looking for good places to snap a few photos. Here is one of my favorites, with a nice bend in the North Fork. I ended up shooting a pano as I needed a little more width than my 16-35 could cover.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Nice gold hues along the river - interesting looking area. Makes a neat pano with the puffy clouds and blue skies.

Wow!!! Love the bend of the river Kyle! A horseshoe of water. The fall colors are the icing.
