I'm reprocessing old data because the weather is just not cooperating. This image is in the region of the North America Nebula. I'm learning masking and using narrowband normalization to convert to something similar as processing with a monochrome camera. This may not be perfectly right but it is an advancement of my personal skills with Pixinsight.

Very nice! Yes, processing NB data taken with a OSC camera is a different skill set - one that I am now just delving into myself as I work with a smaller portable setup here in CO to complement my remotely hosted gear in AZ. Add the fact that narrowband processing in general is not a straightforward process means that this kind of work is definitely a journey and not just a destination for most folks, myself included.

I think you have a good version here, with nice color separation between your channels. That very fast RASA is doing a nice job, and you are leaning into the learning curve of PixInsight and taking advantage of some of the transformative tools there like the suite of Xterminator tools. All good things that are showing out on this fine image posted above.

Thanks again Mike. Your comments are very valuable to me in my Pixinsight journey. While the RASA is doing a great job, I still need to find a night or nights where I can collect several hours of data to see how far this scope can do. My longest total integration to date has been around 80 minutes. I want to understand its limits.
