My back yard part 1

I moved here to a brand new home in Spokane Wash. in 1990. Over the next 20 years I did all the landscaping you see here with a wheelbarrow, a shovel and a few hand held power tools. It was a fun project and I miss it a lot, although the upkeep was starting to become daunting toward the end.

Before the pond was in, here is the first wall.

This is from 2004, last I heard they were still alive, I left in 2011. The pond froze over, but with a pump in the bottom shooting a stream of water upwards, it kept one area open, and the fish just hung out at the bottom. It was 4 feet deep.

Here are a couple of the koi after a few years and also a better view of the stream

Oh wow! What an awesome cool backyard. It sure looks like a lot of work, but man, that had to have been such a cool place to hang out.
