Mummy Cave Ruins

One of the larger sets of structures in Canyon de Chelly are the Mummy Cave Ruins. The largest structure is built in the style of those at Mesa Verde which is a bit different from the other ruins inside of these canyons. This set of ruins is located at the far end of Canyon Del Muerto. The serpentine looking motif on the side of the tower is actually an effort at stabilizing the tower structure and is not part of the original construction.
