Mule Deer

I was out at dawn at the Moab Wetlands a few years ago trying to get some bird shots. Standing in a pagoda all alone and I heard footsteps coming down the path behind me. Expecting another photographer, I was surprised instead by this guy, who was also surprised by me. If you can picture the cartoons where the feet are all slipping and sliding on the icy wooden pathway as he tried to get away, that was the scene. Still, I managed to get this one shot off of him after he regained his footing and sauntered away like "Nothing to see here..."
