This deer was wandering around in dewy Paradise Meadows in the morning at Mt. Rainier National Park.
Thank you, Jim. I think I might have been able to pet him if I wanted because he was so used to people.Very cool Doug! What a carpet of wildflowers there for the deer to snack on.
Thanks, Ben. I have seen flies all over animals before so when you mentioned the flies I went back and blew it up to take a look.. No flies around the head or his legs. Lucky for him.Very nice Douglas. I took a photo of one there a few years back and when I looked at the image at 100%, you could see all the fly's around it's head.
Thanks, Alan. He was easy to get with a 24-70mm lens he was so habituated.Nice to catch this with all the wildflowers - a tasty breakfast indeed. Appears quite accustomed to human presence. Kind has to be hanging out in those meadows.
Thanks, Eric. Why in the world would you think that?I am not surprised at all to see that you captured the muley in a field of wildflowers, Stunning photo, Doug
