Thanks Jameel, the images were taken in early fall so the snow was new. It was a shirt sleeve time on the road and just great weather. We spent 8 days exploring the northwest US and parts of southern Canada. We only had rain on the day we left, sometimes you really get lucky!

Thanks Alan was late summer or early fall and we saw only and few clouds for the 8 day were were there, in fact it only rained on our last day there driving from Birch Bay to the airport in Seattle! I had wished for a few clouds during our travels and am glad I did not get what I wished for; based on the rain on trip out and Northwest!

Our summers are typically bone dry and clouds are usually missing in action for sometimes weeks at a time. The summer monsoon season for the southwest and the Great Basin mostly stay on the east side of the Cascades and thunderstorms on the west side are extremely rare. You could get clobbered driving across from Colorado all the way up to the Cascades and then you end up with stark raving naked skies just like you got in your panorama once you get to the west side of the mountains.
