Hi Murali,

Something has come up and I will be unable to go. I am sorry that we will not be able to meet. I was looking forward to meeting you. At least I will be able to enjoy Mt. Rainier vicariously through your images,

Doug
@Douglas Sherman - sorry to hear the news. Hope to see you next year.

From Seattle Times today (9/13): This year, an abnormally hot and dry summer could make the leaves change a week or two earlier than usual and fall to the ground more quickly, said AccuWeather lead long-range expert Paul Pastelok. That means foliage could peak in mid-to-late September in the mountains and early- to mid-October at middle and lower elevations.

I guess that would have been perfect. I am looking forward to seeing your images, Murali.
