Thanks Alan. Good I hadnt trashed some images that I didnt really find compelling in color. They turned out better as B&W. I am getting the feeling that B&W on paper could be more impressive than on smartphone or computer screens. Any thoughts?
Most definitely - B&W prints offer photographers more breadth of artistic measure than color. Your Rainier with the Moon B&W image allowed you to make a far more dramatic scene than trying to do something similar in color.
I think for B&W to be effective on print, it's a lot about how it's printed, so you maintain those nice tones, and I think matting and framing are equally important to help the B&W stand out from any wall it would be on.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
