I have the good fortune to get to Japan often and over to shoot Mt. Fuji when ever I am there.
I will be heading back in a few weeks and was looking over a few shots from previous trips to get some inspiration. I thought this one was nice the image brought back all the memories of that morning. All Comments welcome and thanks for viewing regards, Dean

This is pretty dramatic, I sort of wish that the images was not so high. If that scene could be replicated at a lower moon angle, it would be terrific.

Ben my next post will be of a really cool setting Moon that I shot several years ago after making 3 trips to get. I think you’ll like it.

Definitely a neat scene. I agree with Ben that there's an awful lot of sky so I'll look forward to your next one.

That is super cool Dean! I like how the moon offsets the mountain. Nice balancing there.

And if you need someone to carry your luggage on your upcoming trip and am available!

That mount sure sticks out there, so big. Thanks for sharing this, looking forward to more...

Fantastic clarity in the mountain, Dean, offset by the misty girdle and the hazy moon. I, too, will look out for what follows as I imagine the variable communication between moon and mount can be both endless and dramatic.
