Mt. Adams +Edit

Mt. Adams as seen from the north side along NF23. It may look like fall but the image is actually from early summer. Early summer growth often takes on a tint like this in the Pacific NW. This was taken a few years ago once the snow that covers NF23 every winter had melted.

You are pretty far north here. I recal driving roads in North Idaho that would cross the border from time to time.

You might be thinking about Mt. Baker - I am well south of Mt. Rainier with this viewpoint.

Pretty nice Alan. It sure doesn't look like summer at all, that's a lot of snow on Mt Adams.

Both Mt Baker and Mt Adams are two mountains I would like to get some better shots of. When I am there I always beeline to Mt Rainier for obvious reasons, but I would like to sometime get some shots of Mt Adams and Mt Baker also.

I never really noticed that stick until you mentioned it and then I couldn't unsee it. I cloned it out and was surprised at how much nicer the scene looks without it. Thnx!
