Taken some years ago during a July 4th celebration, Mr. Waters, at 93 years of age, was still going strong at 11:00 PM.
I said to him, Mr. Waters, it seems like every time I see you, you have a beautiful lady next to you. Sharp as a tack, he immediately responded, "Yeah, but it's a shame they're all relatives."
Mr. Waters, a casual friend to us, has since passed but I'll always remember his wit, humor and strong family values. An impressive gentleman.
