Morning Bustle

One of my favorite photos from LA taken at 5:59am on May 7th of 202. I was in the city shooting long exposures over the freeways. When blue hour began I started heading back to my car and on the way back I stopped to snap this shot near city hall.

Even though this is one of my favorite pictures, I don’t do a lot of slow shutter shots that show people moving but it’s something I want to do more of.

Taken on Canon 6D Mark II with 17-40mm lens. Shot at 17mm for 0.6 sec at f/5.6, iso 100.

Well, that's pretty cool Aaron! First off, shooting moving car lights is lot's of fun. I am sure you got some sweet ones from that.

This one I really like with the ghost figures.

Have you thought about a crop off the top? Maybe going closer to a 4:5 format crop and losing the most leaned in part of the building in the upper left?

Thank you Jim!

I have done a 4:5 version of this shot and I like how it turned out but I kind of like the stop light and cross signal to add a little foreground.
