Fluorite (pinkish crystals with Calcite)

Beryl on Muscovite (Aquamarine and Green Beryl) If the green Beryl is dark green it is emerald.

Quartz with Halloysite inclusions. Halloysite is a clay mineral.

Wonderful crystals - all of them. Does the Gem show use special lighting as a backlight for these specimens? The colors behind the Fluorite and the Quartz crystals makes them look even more amazing.

This reminds me when I was just a lad!
I got interested in collecting rocks. There was a local barber that had a lot of sample rocks, some for sale.
I had an Amethyst Quartz crystal & a large thunder egg. I had visions of going rock hunting

Love the textures and geometry of the crystals!

I completely understand what you mean. My dad took me to a fluorite mining district is southern Illinois and I was hooked. That started me on a path to become a geologist.
