More Lightning

This is from a week ago in Northern Colorado. It was windy so the leaves were blowing all over, so the leaves aren't the cleanest, but hopefully the lightning makes up for it.

What leaves ? I love the shot of the storm with the downbursts lit up by the lightning. That part of the scene grabs my eyes hard enough that I almost have trouble making myself focus on the leaves and that's only because you told me to ......

Thanks Jameel. As to the house... I actually cropped off the bottom of the house. Their patio door doesn't have drapes and the lights were on, so when viewing the image my eye actually went to their lit up patio door looking into their dining room. So it was not only too distracting, but felt too invasive. So I cropped off a bit off the bottom to just above the patio door.

I appreciate the suggestion, and had shot it because I was thinking like you. But in the end, it didn't work for me.

Beautifully captured flashes, Jim. They add new dynamism and life to an otherwise peaceful environment.. they disturbed its peaceful status. It is a masterfully captured scene. I like the beautiful colors of the whole scene, the colors are bold and go well together.
