Midnight Mystery

From about 5 years ago out at the Temple of Sun and Moon in Capitol Reef. There were light clouds moving through all night that only slightly veiled the stars. As you can tell by the mixtures of colors in the sky though that the clouds really affected the WB up in the sky a lot in various portions of the sky.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

The clouds add some interest to the skies - I don't expect normal colors for an exposure like this in the first place and the cast they add here is fine for my eyes. What is providing the orange glow on the horizon? This is not exactly near anything even vaguely resembling an urban area.

Very different night shot here jim, I like it, but have the same question Alan has, are you pointing north here?

Thanks you guys, glad you like this.

Yeah, not sure what caused the glow on the horizon. This is facing west I think. And yeah, there sure isn't much out there as far as towns or light pollution.

Really nice Jim. I have many favorite locations in the SW, but I love the sweet remoteness of Capitol Reef. I love the light you've got here.
