This trip was full of extremes. It came about without any significant amount of planning and happened around the shortest and the coldest time of the year. I went to the farthest North part of Canada where you can still drive.
This photo shows mountains near the Artic Circle at around 1pm. As you can see, at that hour, the sun was almost ready to set behind the horizon. The sunset light added warmth and enriched this extreme environment.
