I'll be running out to CA to visit with Mom for several days in the first half of Dec then make several side trips, or at least a round-about route, to shoot on the return. It's been a regular trip for a few years and I really enjoy it. As of now I plan on leaving Bakersfield @ the 14th to start the photography leg, taking perhaps 7-10 days to get home.
Places on a possible itinerary include, but are not limited to, Owen's Valley, Death Valley, various spots in NE Arizona, SE Utah, and New Mexico.
I try to spend at least a couple days in a given area, depending on weather and my mood. Plans are fluid and subject to change!
Especially hoping to get back to Moab. Last year I was thwarted by weather and a bad cold!
Anyway, I'd love to meet up with anyone planning or wanting to be in any of those areas.
