Mattole River

Just west of the Humboldt Redwoods State Park along the Mattole River Road is a nice view of the Mattole River Valley near a town named Honeydew. I liked the glimpse of the winding river with the late afternoon sun on the day I shot this.

Hey Alan, with shooting and driving in the Eastern Sierra yesterday somehow I missed this one. I had seen it but was waiting to comment, but then I lost it...

I like that bit of the river also, but especially like that golden glow coming from behind the trees.
