The ducklings are not in danger of rolling down the slope. This scene was taken at the edge of a lake and if the ducklings did tumble they would land in water and be right at home
Nice image Larry. It would be very late for a recent hatch of young in my area. We had a temperature 1 degree above freezing last night. Lots of birds are getting fattened up for the fall migration. Is this normal for where you live?
Hi Trent thanks for your comments, appreciated as always.
This image was taken in June and was a late hatch at one of our local lakes. The geese and other migratory bird are in the process of fattening up, however we have some local geese and other bird that stay here year round and avoid the long flight up north and back. So we have year round opportunities for bird shooting. Our over night temperature last night was 60 degrees F.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
