M81

Cropped and reprocessed M81 by itself using the same data. I can't help but wonder it someone from these distant galaxies are photographing my as I photograph them?
SVX102, 533mc, L-Pro filter captuing a little over 11 hours of 5 min light frames.

Nice work Ed! And yeah, I wonder if they saw me waving to them the other night?

Have you tried getting a couple of hours with a narrower filter like the L-Extreme or such, and then blending the Ha signal into a Galaxy taken with a broadband filter like the L-Pro. I have done that a few times, it's kind of nice to see he star forming regions pop out.
