this is a 2 panel mosaic each sub is 120 secs rgb and for the core of m42 60 @60secs and 60@10secs not great skies so cant really pull out the dust that surrounds this area

Very cool Les! I was just saying that I needed to capture M42 again before it's gone now that I have a complete Astro setup. I would like to see what kind of quality I could get from it.

I like was you got, it's great seeing that area like that together. And I think the little bit of added Ha data in #2 is very beneficial.
