M31 The Great Andromeda Galaxy

The closes galaxy to us which is also much larger than the Milky Way. Said to contain a Trillion Stars! That's trillion with a T!
Taken Oct 7th with about 4 hours of 5 min subs. In the right dark sky, you can see Andromeda with the naked eye.

Wow Ed! I would say this is perfect! Love the color and detail. I like how those bands between the spiral are so detailed. Did you image the core separately to keep it from blowing out?

I almost imaged M31 last night as I want to capture it again. But then I ended up with IC 63 which I have never captured. I think I will do the Iris next, and then Andromeda again. I hope I can get my Andromeda to look as good as you got.
