The core of M16 The Eagle Nebula
In Super Lum SHO
21 hrs of data captured between 1am and 5 am over several nights! Including the support of 2 different mounts!
If you're up for capturing the eagle core the sulfur signal is sick with structure, really surprised me!
There is 10% crop as I shot this at my longest focal length since fall down the rabbit hole at 1635mm
The Ioptron RC 8 did amazing.
Another project in the books orchestrated by the simple to use Asi Air Pro.
Subs were 6 min at unity gain.

This is so awesome Steve! Love the detail and the separation of the pillars of creation. I captured Eagle Nebula this last Tuesday, but with just a dslr, sadly my results will not look like this.

I am looking to buy the ASIair Pro and guide cam package they sell. I figure that will be my next step up.

Really wonderful to see this with this much detail and subtle coloring, especially at this magnification. Awesome job! I have the same guide cam and an earlier version of the same camera. At some point if I get my higher mag scope back online I will have to try this. I have a widefield of it at about 580mm that I like quite a bit but nothing with more magnification that I have imaged on it yet. Your result is very inspirational though!
