So, I know it might be a little over the top, but I’ve always wanted to get this shot ! It was a real challenge to get the Ha blended in and then I just went crazy with it 😀
Thanks to Steven Miller on YT for some cool videos on this very topic, great stuff !!

Tech stuff for M 81
SVX 130
ASI 1600 mm Pro
MyT mount
Baader LRGB, and Astrodon Ha filters
SGP, PhD2 multi star guiding,
TSX, Sharpcap for PA, and crunched in Pixinsight

6 hours total exposure:
Lum-2
Ha and RGB-1 each
3 minute subs
Processing 🎶: Mountain

Love the Ha! That's what is always missing with my DSLR, so it's great to see it! The day I finally get an Astro camera, I will probably do the same thing with my processing!

Thanks, this was my first time being able to get Ha to blend on a Galaxy like this. It was great to play with like a new toy ! I probably did go over the top but had great fun doing it 😀
