Looking for Treasure

I normally don't like people in my landscapes, but in this case I was shooting as these two wandered into the scene with a flashlight looking for hidden treasures in the tidepools. I thought it worked.

This was in Little Corona in Socal.

Looks like most of the light had abandoned the scene beyond their flashlight. Interesting shot.

I know that when you are diving there are lots of nocturnal critters that appear in the dark waters - it this true for tide pools as well? I have never been out after dark to look.
