Lone Pine Tree

I was driving through Rocky Mountain National Park somewhere on Old Trail Ridge Road when I spotted the aspen grove with a single pine tree at the front of the stand. I thought this was interesting and a little strange so I naturally stopped and grab a few shots. Image was converted to B&W in Camera Raw Filter.

Looks a bit on the lonesome side in this scene. In the Pacific NW it's usually a lone deciduous tree amongst the firs and spruce trees
