Logging Lake

The lake was calm in the afternoon but the sky was hazy. I felt like the best light was an hour before sunset as there was still some definition in the mountains.

Logging Lake campground is 5 miles from the trailhead in the North Fork area of Glacier. It resembles the other east-west lakes in the western side of the park (McDonald, Bowman, etc.) with a long shoreline and mountain peaks in the background. Any thoughts are welcome.

Beautiful lake with some great reflections. I like the clouds and view.

Not surprised by the smoky skies given the air quality numbers for this area.

It was a little disappointing. Based on the locations of the fires I thought we may be ok. Skies were clear on the hike in and the smoke only gathered for sunset. At least the next night at Grace Lake was clear
