Live Oak..

We made a quick run to South Carolina to visit some old friends. South Carolina is Live Oak country, I came across this one during a trip through a garden we were touring. I was especially taken with all the varying textures and thought the presentation in B/W would lend to a greater appreciation without the distraction of color.

This is really cool. I like how the softer texture of the hanging moss plays with the crisp lines of the trunk and branches.
