Little Grand Canyon

A place near & dear to Ben's heart (I think). About the only place I've been to that is called something likening it to the Grand Canyon that deserves it. the bottom center crag, if I've remembered it correctly, had some absolutely pristine pictographs. The hike started in the valley in the background with the yellow cottonwoods, came over the notch in the right lower quadrant, circled around in front (below the bottom of the frame), then up to the crag. I went back in pretty much a straight line to the notch.

Wow - stunning topography and you have done it justice. This is one part of Utah I have not spent much time exploring so its nice to get a chance to vicariously see it through your lens.

Somehow, I've usually been camped in a canyon there, so the night photography has been limited. Now that I've learned about the Green River cutoff road, night photography will be much more accessible.

There are several areas in the Swell that are WSAs. This is one. Here is a link about them. OHVs are banned, but I don't know about drones. You should check that out before going.

Yes, people are more willing to share locations here than on other sites. The Swell is pretty amazing. And big. You should add Labyrinth Canyon to your list (though it is also Wilderness, so you'll have to keep your drone grounded there).

Looks like a very interesting place to explore and photograph. Nicely captured
