This is a nice example of what the forest floor looks like in an area that was clear cut and replanted about 20-30 years ago. The uniform age and spacing of all the trees is the main giveaway coupled with the fact that the trees are all the same species. Almost a perfect recipe for a crown fire.

On the flip side the undergrowth does have some nice patches of color for scenes like this one.

That looks pretty cool Alan! Finally some fall colors!

I would crop a hair off the bottom, the little snippet of a pathway there is more of a distraction then a lead in.

Thanks Jim - definitely more yellows but at a cost. It's basically a tree farm instead of a true coastal temperate rain forest - very little moss and no diversity for the tree species and size. I added a new version with your crop suggestion. I did that crop with the original but then ran the RAW file through DxO Deep Prime which uses only the RAW with the original crop and I forgot to redo the crop.

Thanks Jameel - the yellows made a nice diagonal for the composition. I think I slammed on the brakes just about every time I saw concentrations of yellow along the drive.
